Veteran journalist Scott Jagow, editor-in-chief of Thoroughbred racing’s Paulick Report, has spent most of his career in broadcasting, first as an anchor/reporter on local radio and TV, later as an NBC News producer, and then as a host of the popular radio business show, Marketplace, on NPR stations nationwide.
Living in Los Angeles, Jagow fell in love with horse racing going to Hollywood Park and Santa Anita, and in 2010 decided to follow his passion, earning a mid-career degree from the University of Louisville’s Equine Industry Program.
He now lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife Megan and their two dogs.
Established in June 2008, PaulickReport.com is an award-winning online publication covering the international sport and business of Thoroughbred racing and breeding. Based in Lexington, Ky., the company is led by founding publisher Ray Paulick and has a full-time staff of seven, plus a global network of freelance writers and photographers.
