In this episode we’re talking all things equine breeding & reproduction! We have Shaun Rathy with us, manager of Equine Reproduction at Bar None Ranches, located in Alberta, Canada. Shaun grew up riding on the national hunter/jumper circuit. She strives to stay on the cutting edge of current advances in research, attends seminars and consults with colleagues in the field throughout the world. Shaun is responsible for the health, training, and well being of the farm’s broodmares, foals, and stallions. In this episode we ask the questions some may never ask in fear of thinking they should have known. Our lack of breeding experience allows us to have this conversation making no assumptions of what our listeners know and leads to some great, and entertaining, conversation.
