Erin is the Chief Executive Officer of Days End Farm Horse Rescue (DEFHR), based in Woodbine, Maryland, and has been with the organization since2005. Each year alone, her role at DEFHR has given her the opportunity to work with and on behalf of hundreds of horses in transition. As a Maryland native, Erin grew up active in the horse industry and was involved with Pony Club and the Potomac Valley Dressage Association. Her career in equine welfare has also led her to become certified as an equine investigator and animal control officer and she also serves as a member of Maryland Professional Animal Workers Association, a Board Member representing Associations of The Maryland Horse Council, a Board Member representing Humane Societies of The Maryland Horse Industry Board, and an Advisory Council member of The Homes for Horses Coalition.
