Ice Cube is the horse that Jade Corkill started his rodeo career aboard back when he heeled for Matt Tyler as a rookie, and it’s the horse he set the 3.3-second World Record aboard in Round 9 of the 2009 NFR. He died in the summer of 2022, during the short round of the Cheyenne Frontier Days—which Corkill won. While we’ve written the story before, we’ve never heard it from Jade’s perspective on The Score.
