She went on to represent the intercollegiate team at the University of South Carolina, finishing as reserve champion in the 2001 Cacchione Cup at IHSA National Championships. Jennifer graduated from USC magna cum laude with a marketing degree in 2001.
Jennifer worked for Olympic show jumpers Anne Kursinski and Margie Engle before entering into the public relations field in 2004. Jennifer is known for her work promoting some of the best equestrian events and companies in North America through her companies Jennifer Wood Media, Inc. and Jump Media. Jennifer founded Equestrian Businesswomen in 2018 to connect businesswomen in the equine industry to provide them with resources and community to foster their professional development and business opportunities.
While Jennifer isn’t in the saddle much anymore, she does enjoy cooking, spending time with her husband and two kids, and a good Netflix binge.

Jennifer Connor
Jennifer is a third-generation horsewoman who has been involved in many aspects of the equine industry. Jennifer grew up on a farm in Central New York, where her parents introduced her to horses at an early age through their standardbred training and racing business.
In addition to driving and racing under saddle, Jennifer also rides hunter/jumpers. She attended the University of South Carolina and competed on the Varsity Equestrian Team. In 1999, she finished Reserve Champion in Intermediate Over Fences at IHSA Nationals.
After college, Jennifer worked as the Bloodstock Coordinator at Blue Chip Farms in Wallkill, NY. For 12 years, she managed much of the breeding and raising of premier standardbreds and warmbloods. One of the biggest highlights working at Blue Chip was being involved with the famous show jumper Sapphire.
Jennifer currently works for Dechra Veterinary Products as the New England & New York Equine Territory Manager. She enjoys traveling and eating her way thru the Northeast. When she is at home, she takes care of her four horses, two dogs and her husband.
